Support

Classical Opus is a complex application for MSWindows(TM) operating systems, absolutely safe, and clean. We test every new release thoroughly to make sure that the users will come across no application errors. We test it in extreme conditions, e.g. with a music collection of more than 30,000 computer records (that is more than 12,000 music CDs) or by trying to predict the user's actions. However, it is very important for us to be informed of problems that we may have not encountered. Please e-mail the problems you have encountered to dilos@anistor.gr (use the word CLASSICAL OPUS in the subject area of your e-mail) and we will try to solve them either immediately (if possible) or in our next release(s).

KNOWN PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS

FALSE VIRUS ALERT BY KASPERSKY and AVG ANTI-VIRUS
If you have installed in your PC the anti-virus program KASPERSKY or AVG and you try to download Classical Opus, you may receive an anti-virus alert notifying you that Classical Opus is infected by a troyan virus. This is a false alarm by the KASPERSKY or the AVG anti-virus program. We always make sure that Classical Opus is clean from viruses if downloaded from this homepage.

Release 3.0.0 and above
DO NOT USE DOUBLE QUOTES (") IN TEXT FIELDS
DO NOT USE double quotes e.g. "Eroica" in any of the text boxes. Instead, you may use single quotes ('Eroica'). The use of double quotes will ruin the sorting of your collection and the database itself as the double quotes symbol (") is specifically used by the sorting routines.

Release 2.0.0 and above
CLASSICAL OPUS ASKS FOR THE UPDATING OF SOME SYSTEM FILES (Old Windows versions only)
Classical Opus uses the latest MSWindows(TM) routines for better and smoother operation. Some of your system files might be older than the ones used and incorporated in Classical Opus MSWindows(TM) routines. When this is detected by the installation wizard, you must allow Classical Opus to perform the system routines update. The new system routines are supplied by Microsoft(TM) itself and you are actually updating some Microsoft(TM) files.

Please follow the procedure described below:
1. Run Classical Opus and allow some system files to be updated.
2. Restart Windows.
3. Run Classical Opus once more and install it (see Installation Guide below).
