Support

FotoArchive is a complex application that uses the capabilities of Windows(TM) fully. We test every new release thoroughly to make sure that the users will come across no application errors. We test it in extreme conditions, e.g. with a foto file containing 1,000+ image records or by trying to predict the user's actions. However, it is very important for us to be informed of problems that we may have not encountered. Please e-mail the problems you have encountered to dilos@anistor.gr (please use the word FOTOARCHIVE in the subject area of your e-mail) and we will try to solve them either immediately (if possible) or in our next release(s).

Do not use this option from the 800x600 Viewer unless you have assigned the 'W16 Editor'. (Corrected in release 3.0.0)

Release 2.5.1
WARNING!!!! & SOLUTION for users of older versions (1.0.0 to 2.4.9)
If you have used FotoArchive up to and including version 2.4.9 to create Albums, you WILL NOT be able to open them in FotoArchive version 2.5.1 and above. The main change has to do with the structure of the .foto files created. With FotoArchive 2.5.1 and above you can use image files the total path of which is up to 250 characters long (as opposed to the limit of 50 characters in previous versions).

However, you can convert your old Albums to the new .foto file structure (new Albums) and use them in FotoArchive 2.5.1 and above. A converter program and instructions are included in FotoArchive 2.5.1 version. Please click on the CONVERT menu (next to HELP) in the main window of FotoArchive 2.5.1 version.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Before you attempt any conversion, make sure that the text areas of your .foto file DO NOT contain the symbol of double quotes ". Use F4 key to search and clear any " symbols from your texts. Alternatively, you may replace them with the symbol of single quotes ' that does not affect the conversion process.
