Armenians, 7th to 20th c.: An Exhibition
Reliquary of St. John the Baptist, 14th c.

More than 350 pieces of Armenian art are being exhibited in the Athens Music Hall, Athens, Greece. The exhibition is organized by the newly founded Armenian Republic and the artifacts have been selected from the State Historical Museum of Erevan, the Museum of Ecclesiastical Treasures of Etsmiajin, the Matenadaran State Manuscript Museum and the Athens based Benaki Museum. The exhibits include relics of Saints wrapped in gold and decorated with precious stones, reliefs, manuscripts, books, crosses, woodwork.
